Based on recent data, the population of people aged 100 and above in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

From 2004 and 2024, the figure of male individuals reaching 100 has tripled from 910 to 3,100. Over the same timeframe, the count of female centenarians almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are keen to hear from centenarians, their family or close ones, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s transformative changes and shifts.
