Helicopter Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Shoreline
A chopper soaring above a well-attended California coastline suddenly began spiraling out of control, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a line of palm groves as beachgoers observed.
Videos uploaded online capture the chopper commencing to spiral above the shoreline then descending towards the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a staircase adjacent to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Information
Emergency responders stated five persons were taken to hospital including two who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the accident on that day.
Three persons on the street were injured. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not immediately released.
